Bundesliga Betting Tips
Here’s our weekly look at the best betting tips for the upcoming Bundesliga action.
Arminia Bielefeld v Wolfsburg: 0-3 12
Wolfsburg’s winning run came to an end last week, as they played out a hard fought 0-0 draw with Borussia Monchengladbach. The good news for their fans is that a trip to play Arminia Bielefeld represents a great chance to start another unbeaten run. Wolfsburg have won away at the three other sides in the bottom four, all without conceding a goal. In fact, they’ve gone five games without conceding a goal and it’s hard to see goal shy Bielefeld ending that run, despite their impressive draw at Bayern last time out.
A comfortable away win looks inevitable, and the 12s on offer for a 0-3 Wolfsburg win look very appealing.
Eintracht Frankfurt v Bayern Munich: Bayern win and BTTS 2.4
Stop Press! Bayern Munich didn’t win last week. Their 3-3 draw with Bielefeld saw their long winning run come to an end. But Bayern aren’t likely to dwell on that result for long and whilst Frankfurt are flying high in third, Munich should have too much quality for them. Six of the last seven meetings between the sides have ended in a Bayern victory, but this is the strongest Frankfurt side for years and they will put up a strong fight.
Expect Bayern to get back to winning ways, but Frankfurt are more than capable of giving them some problems. A Bayern victory with both teams scoring looks a solid bet at 2.4
FC Koln v Stuttgart: FC Koln to win & over 3.5 goals 8.7
Koln suffered a 2-0 defeat at Frankfurt last time out, but have won three of their last five and have established a comfortable cushion over the relegation places. Stuttgart are the epitome of mid-table mediocrity and have very little left to play for this season. They’ve lost four of their last five away games and there’s reason to believe Koln can add to their travel misery here.
A home win offers great value at 3.4, and given both sides' defensive struggles it seems highly possible that at least four goals will be scored.
Schalke v Borussia Dortmund: Dortmund to win to nil 2.4
Remarkably, Schalke have scored the least amount of goals in the Bundesliga, and conceded the most. This unwanted double means that betting against them is always a good option. Dortmund have endured a tough season and have underachieved considerably. But their midweek win at Sevilla could well be the catalyst for a strong end to the season. They’re only six points off the Champions League places and victory here would really put the pressure on the top four.
An away win is just 1.3, but given Schalke’s aversion to finding the back of the net, it seems likely that Dortmund will not only claim three points but also register a clean sheet.
Whatever your choices are this week, make sure you gamble responsibly! Good luck.
