We take a look at the best betting tips for the upcoming Serie A action.
Serie A Betting Tips
Here are our betting tips for this weekend’s Serie A matches.
Roma v AC Milan: Roma & over 2.5 goals 3.1
The biggest game of the weekend in Serie A sees fourth place Roma host second place AC Milan. After heading the table for most of the season, Milan find themselves four points off the top. They’ve lost three of their last five and the suspicion is that they were overachieving earlier in the season. Roma have climbed into the Champions League places on the back of three wins in their last five. They are slight favourites here and that seems right, given Milan’s recent form.
Goals look likely, so take the 3.1 on offer for a home win and at least three goals in the game.
Torino v Sassuolo: Draw & BTTS 4
Torino have drawn 11 games this season, three more than any other team in Serie A. Sassuolo are second on the list with eight draws. Can you see where we’re going with this one?
Torino actually claimed a rare victory last time out. Their narrow win over Cagliari gave them some welcome breathing space at the bottom of the table, as well as ending a run of four draws on the spin. Sassuolo picked up a (you guessed it) draw with Bologna, a result that leaves them eight points outside of the European places.
Unsurprisingly, the first encounter between these sides ended in a point apiece and it seems highly possible a similar result will occur this time. There could be goals in this, so both teams scoring and the points being shared looks the value bet.
Sampdoria v Atalanta: Draw & over 3.5 goals: 9.9
Entertainment looks guaranteed when Atalanta travel to face Sampdoria on Sunday. Atalanta produced a stunning display to beat Napoli 4-2 last time out. Victory here could see them move into the Champions League places. However, Sampdoria can be a tough night to crack. Their form is the epitome of mid table mediocrity, but they are more than capable of getting something from this game.
An exciting draw is very possible in this one, so take the odds of just under 10 on the points being shared and both teams managing more than one goal.
Crotone v Cagliari: Under 1.5 goals 3.8
In contrast to the above game, entertainment looks highly unlikely in this one. Between them these sides have picked up one point and three goals in their last five Serie A games. They are two of the three lowest scorers in Serie A and currently occupy two of the three relegation places. In short, this is going to be a very nervous game. Picking a winner is borderline impossible given the two sides’ form, but a low scoring affair looks almost certain.
Surprisingly there were six goals when these sides met earlier in the season, but the form book suggests there will be at least five less this time. 3.8 on there being no more than one goal looks a superb price.
Whatever your choices are this week, make sure you gamble responsibly! Good luck.
