Free Cricket Betting Tips
2021 is absolutely jam packed with huge cricket matches. England have home series with India, New Zealand, Pakistan and Sri Lanka, New Zealand and India battle it out for the first ever World Test Championship. Whilst the men’s T20 World Cup takes place in October and the year ends with the 2021/22 Ashes. Here are our free cricket betting tips for the year:
Men's T20 World Cup: New Zealand 10
New Zealand have quietly turned into a dominant force in world cricket. They were a Super Over away from winning the 50 over World Cup,they’ve cruised into the final of the World Test Championship and earlier in the month they beat Australia 3-2 in a superb T20 series. Their T20 World Cup record isn’t as impressive - two semi finals from six appearances represents something of an underachievement. Nevertheless, this is a special group of players - Kane WIlliamson, Trent Boult and Tim Southee are all world class talents in all formats. Whilst specialists like Devon Conway, Martin Guptill and Glenn Philips give them X factors in the shortest format of the game. Plus, Kyle Jamieson might just be the most exciting young bowler in the game.
There are plenty of great T20 teams out there - England, India and West Indies will all have a say, plus the host nation Australia can never be discounted. But given their talent and form, 10 looks a huge price on a Kiwi victory.
T20 Blast: Kent 12
The domestic T20 league might be taking a bit of a back seat to the Hundred this summer, but there’s still bound to be plenty of interest in the tournament. It’s always a tough competition to predict, especially as many teams are yet to announce their overseas signings, but we’ve spotted a couple of excellent value bets.
Worcestershire at 17 look very tempting. They are full of experienced T20 campaigners like Ben Whiteley, Daryl Mitchell and Ed Barnard. Plus, there’s a good chance that Moeen Ali will be released from England duties for a large part of the Summer.
However, Kent at 11 look even more appealing. There are yet to announce an overseas signing, but regardless of that they have some serious batting power at their disposal. Joe Denly, Sam Billings, Heino Kuhn and Alex Blake are all destructive T20 players, whilst they also possess last season’s competition top score in the form of Daniel Bell-Drummond. In a competition that’s likely to be dominated by the bat, getting 200 plus scores on the board will be vital and Kent have the line up to do just that.
Ashes 2021/22: Draw 7
Making a free cricket betting tip for a series that doesn't start for 9 months isn’t easy, but these look to be two closely matched sides. England’s away form is erratic at best, whilst Australia are still a couple of players short of being a top test side (namely an opener and an allrounder). The previous series was an exciting 2-2 draw in 2019, and this year’s series could be equally as tight.
There’s a long way to go and injuries and form will play a huge part, but 7 for another drawn series looks a great price at this stage.
It promises to be a fantastic year of cricket. Enjoy the action and look out for more free cricket betting tips in the next few weeks.
