BTTS and Over 2.5 Goals Predictions
BTTS and Over 2.5 Goals Predictions For This Week’s Champions League Games
The Champions League has reached the quarter final stage, and with some world class attacking talent on display, there’s plenty of BTTS and over 2.5 goals potential. Here are the two games we think have the best chance of winning you a BTTS and over 2.5 goals wager:
Bayern Munich v Paris Saint Germain: 1.64
1.64 is a very short price for BTTS and over 2.5 goals, but this is no ordinary game. Even without the prolific Robert Lewandowski, Bayern still possess an array of attacking options in the form of Thomas Muller, Leroy Sane, Serge Gnabry, Kingsley Coman and Leon Goretska. Whilst PSG have Neymar and Kylian Mbappe leading the line.
The game is a repeat of last season’s final, and whilst Munich emerged comfortable winners on that day, there reason to believe PSG will be more potent this time around. Their 5-2 victory over Barcelona in the last 16 was a seriously impressive performance and Mbappe was virtually unplayable in the first leg. Bayern can be exposed defensively and conceded in both legs to Lazio in the last 16.
It’s hard to see anything other than a goalfest here. Bayern will rightly be favourites, but who’d bet against Mbappe and Neymar finding the net? 1.64 is extremely short, but in this instance it looks a solid bet.
Real Madrid v Liverpool: 1.92
Another very short BTTS and over 2.5 goals price, but another game in which it looks a sound bet. Both sides come into the game off the back of comfortable victories and both sides possess some world class attacking talent.
It’s not been a vintage season for Madrid or Liverpool, but there are signs of them both coming into some form ahead of this tie. Liverpool’s 0-3 win at Arsenal on Saturday was their best display of the year and their 4-0 last 16 victory over RB Leipzig was equally as comfortable. Diogo Jota is in excellent form, whilst Mo Salah and Sadio Mane are always a big threat. It’s rare that Liverpool fail to score in an away game.
As for Madrid, Karim Benzema has been in the form of his career this season. His 18 La Liga goals have helped keep Madrid in the title hunt, whilst his five Champions League strikes are a large reason why they are still in the competition. Throw in the likes of Isco, Toni Kroos, Luka Modric and Marco Asensio and it’s easy to see why Madrid are such a big threat.
With so much attacking talent on show, it’s hard to bet against at least three goals here. Again, it’s a short price, but again it looks an attractive one.
Whatever your choices are this week, make sure you gamble responsibly! Good luck and we’ll be back next week with some more BTTS and over 2.5 goals predictions.
