BTTS and Over 2.5 Goals Predictions For This Week’s Premier League Games
BTTS and over 2.5 goals only occurred in two out of eight Premier League games last week. Let’s hope for more goal action this week. Here are our BTTS and over 2.5 goals predictions for this week.
Burnley v West Ham United: 2
Until last week’s 0-1 defeat to Chelsea, West Ham had been a go-to team for BTTS and over 2.5 goals predictions in recent weeks. They had landed BTTS and over 2.5 goals in their four previous Premier League games and this week’s trip to Turfmoor could be the start of another run. Burnley also saw their run of four successive BTTS and over 2.5 goals games end last week, but their 0-4 win at Wolves suggested that they are still in fine form in front of goal.
This could be the sleeper game of the week. Two teams in rip roaring goalscoring form and one of them (West Ham) still chasing a place in Europe. Odds of 2 on BTTS and over 2.5 goals look very appealing.
Everton v Aston Villa: 2.04
Everton’s win at Arsenal reignited their push for Europe, but they need to start winning at Goodison Park if they are to make the top four. The return of top scorer Dominic Calvert-Lewin from injury couldn’t have come at a better time. Aston Villa might be a good team for Everton to play at the minute. Villa scrapped a draw against lowly West Brom last time out and are looking very ropey in defence. However, they are scoring goals and have an inform front man in Ollie Watkins.
That fragile Villa backline, plus Everton’s desperate need for a win could make for a perfect BTTS and over 2.5 goals recipe in this one.
Newcastle United v Arsenal 2.02
Newcastle have finally discovered how to entertain their supporters. They’ve managed two wins and two draws in their last four games, a run that has seen them beat West and Burnley, as well as grabbing impressive draws with Spurs and Liverpool. They’ve also got Callum Wilson returning from injury, greatly increasing their goal scoring threat. As for Arsenal, we’ve absolutely no idea what to expect from them. But they do seem to be performing better away from the Emirates at present. Three nil and four nil wins at Sheffield United and Slavia Prague respectively in their last two road trips, suggest they are in goalscoring form away from home.
This is an unpredictable one, but Newcastle are in decent goalscoring form and Arsenal are capable of finding the net on their travels, so 2.02 looks a nice price for BTTS and over 2.5 goals.
Whatever your choices are this week, make sure you gamble responsibly! Good luck and we’ll be back next week with some more BTTS and over 2.5 goals predictions.
