We take a look at the best betting tips for the upcoming Serie A action.
Serie A Betting Tips
There’s a packed midweek programme in Serie A, and with so much still to be decided it promises to be full of twists and turns. Here are our best Serie A betting tips for the upcoming action.
Cagliari v Fiorentina: Draw and BTTS 3.3
Fiorentina’s superb 2-0 win over high flying Lazio essentially secured their Serie A place for next season. So not only do they come into this game in high spirits, they do so without the threat of Serie B lurking over them. Cagliari are still not safe from the drop, but their outstanding recent form - four wins in their last five - gives them every chance of surviving.
This is a great looking fixture and could be a very entertaining game. Before the weekend we would have had Cagliari down as winners, but FIorentina’s victory over Lazio can not be ignored, so we’re plumping for a score draw.
Sassuolo v Juventus: Sassuolo 4.8
Sunday’s awful 0-3 home defeat to AC Milan has put Juve outside of the Champions League places. Missing out on a place at Europe’s top table seems unthinkable for the perennial Serie A champions, but it looks a real possibility now. In contrast, Sassulo are going from strength to strength and are just two points behind Roma in the Europa League place. They’ve won four of their last five Serie A games, and emerged with a credible point against Atalanta in the other match. Despite all that, Juve are huge favourites here and odds of 1.8 seems extremely short.
The bookies seem to be basing their prices on the Juve of old, but taking into account the form of both sides, the 4.8 on a Sassoulo win looks a superb price.
Torino v AC Milan: Milan win and Ante Rebic FGS 9.5
Milan’s victory over Juventus on Sunday was arguably their best display of the season. Not only did it give their stuttering season a big shot in the arm, but it gave their Champions League hopes a huge boost. Ante Rebic played a huge part in that victory and the Croatian star has three goals in his last six games. Torino have been in decent form recently, but their best results this season have been on the road and it’s tough to back them on their own ground.
That victory at Juve, could be the catalyst for a strong end to the campaign for Milan. We really fancy their chances of grabbing all three points in this one and you can pimp your bet by picking the in-form Rebic to be first goalscorer.
Whatever Serie A betting tips you select this week, make sure you gamble responsibly! Good luck.
